Dennis Hysom is a web and audio producer, composer, sound designer, musician, songwriter and performer. He has written and produced eight CDs of instrumental music and natural sound for Discovery Communications/The Nature Company, as well as other projects, including In Joyful Harmony, a compilation of international children’s choirs. He is the co-writer, along with Christine Walker, of a Billboard Top-40 country song and six award-winning children’s music projects, featuring The Wooleycat. He is the co-author of “Wooleycat’s Musical Theater,” a children’s picture book with song CD, published by Tortuga Press, and is the songwriter for Wooleycat’s songs.
Christine Walker is a visual artist and writer. She is the author of “A Painter’s Garden: Cultivating the Creative Life,” a collection of her paintings and essays inspired by the garden and her journals about creative process. She is the co-author and illustrator of “Wooleycat’s Musical Theater” and lyricist for Wooleycat’s songs. Her paintings are exhibited in galleries and private and corporate collections. Her multi-disciplinary career has encompassed set and costume design for dance theater and video, songwriting, teaching and public speaking. She also works as a branding and communications consultant, creative director, graphic designer and illustrator. She holds an MFA in Writing and Literature (Fiction) from Bennington College and an MA in Interdisciplinary Creative Arts from San Francisco State University.
Dennis and Christine live in Sebastopol, California, in the orchard and vineyard landscape of Sonoma County. They have a grown son, Quinn.
